BIO
This photo was taken after a recent trip out to a surf spot accessible only by boat. I was so afraid to jump off into the deep water... even after a lifetime of swimming in the ocean I'm still afraid of sharks. I had so much fun though and I love how proud and happy I felt after! A great reminder to face your fears.
Hello and welcome!
At my core I’m a problem solver. I really enjoy planning and process, nothing feels better than developing a way for people and ideas to flourish. I also love a good collaborative project, the energy that comes out of building ideas off each other is magic.
My brain loves building flows and designing screens, but as my career develops my heart has become passionate about building up people as well. Creating a direction and supporting a team of designers from concept to delivery is where my inherent skills shine. I’m excited to explore anything that interests me and see how it can benefit me, my team, the customer and the company.

HP
Senior Interaction & Experience Designer
Originally hired as one of two interaction designers for the HP Smart app, I have now worked on nearly every touchpoint and solution relating to the HP printer experience - the app, the logged-out website, the logged-in portal/account website, HP services and subscriptions, branding, design systems, CRM,... I've refreshed our out-of-date logged-in portal/account experience, I've brought organization to our Services design group with a new design system (that was eventually adopted and integrated into our larger HP system) and I'm currently leading the first CRM design team, developing a process for working with partners and a design strategy and governance for these touchpoints.
I also take the initiative to lead many of our social events - I find a lot of value in having some fun at work. I've planned the last 4 holiday parties and have lead our 'fun team' for nearly 7 years now.

Kodak
Interaction & Visual Designer
As the sole visual designer working on the Kodak app, I was responsible for documenting the roadmap, visual updates and concepts and syncing with marketing and development partners so our products looked consistent and on-brand. I also worked closely with our Human Factors engineer to develop an intuitive and elegant on-boarding experience.

GadLight
Junior Industrial Designer
As a boutique product design agency, we worked in a fast-paced studio developing a variety of consumer products. Working closely with a UX designer who conducted research and user-testing, we focused on analyzing behaviors as a source of inspiration. I delivered sketches and concepts and recommenced manufacturing processes and materials. Final deliverables included CAD files and specs.

DD Studio
Industrial Design Intern
From a time when "Intern" meant answer phones, get coffee, sit in on meetings, absorb as much as you can and dont speak up unless you have a really great question or idea. I learned a ton about real-life projects and how an office runs. By the end of my internship I had gotten my first taste of what a career in ID was like and my sketchbook was full of ideas!
